This paper concentrates on the implications of this virus on the educational activities both teaching, learning and research. It also identifies the problems of Corona virus impact on Education’s Digital Divide and challenges in remote learning, future tense of Indian students in foreign countries have been highlighted. The guidelines by the University Grants Commission in India and recommendations by UNESCO are also enumerated. The strategies in managing the impact of COVID -19 on education system have been discussed. Concludes optimistically that the COVID 19 situation is surmounted and put behind us soon, the education sector will take a long while to recover.
